Academy Galleries

The New Zealand Academy of Fine Arts was established in 1882 and for 125 years the Academy has promoted and displayed new works by artists, both emerging and established, from all over New Zealand. Regular exhibitions featuring new work from artists, are held in the Academy’s spacious and architectural award winning galleries.

The Academy Galleries are situated right in the heart of Wellington at the entrance to Queens Wharf. Galleries are open 10am until 5pm Monday to Sunday during exhibition seasons. More...
